- How is this different from a regular timer?
- A standard timer shows the time remaining as numbers. FlowTimer turns your whole screen into color and volume instead, so you can feel how much is left without reading a number — plus it repeats work and break periods automatically and tracks your focus, so it's built to help you keep going, not just count down.
- Can I use timing other than Pomodoro?
- You can freely set the length of work, break, and long break, plus how many rounds to repeat. Adjust it to fit your own rhythm.
- Does it work in the background?
- Yes. The timer keeps running even after you close the app, and you'll get a notification when it ends. Live Activity also keeps the time remaining visible on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can check it at a glance even while using other apps.
- Will my data carry over if I switch phones?
- If you turn on iCloud sync, your saved timers and focus history carry over to your new device, synced through Apple's iCloud across your own devices only.
- Is there an Android version?
- Right now, FlowTimer is available for iPhone (iOS) only.
